We have three heat treatment furnaces that are controlled by a central computer and allow us to use the following processes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list has-white-color has-text-color\">\n<li>Normalizing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stress-relief annealing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solution annealing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-ast-global-color-4-color has-text-color\">All heat treatments are recorded and attached for analysis and later documentation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-ast-global-color-4-color has-text-color\">Normalising annealing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-ast-global-color-4-color has-text-color\">Normalising, also called normalising, is used to eliminate structural irregularities. The material is brought to a temperature above the transformation point. The pipe bends are then cooled in a controlled manner. This process produces a more uniform and finer microstructure. Some materials require subsequent &#8220;tempering&#8221; in a temperature range of 700-780\u00b0C&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-ast-global-color-4-color has-text-color\">Stress-relief annealing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-ast-global-color-4-color has-text-color\">Stress-relief annealing is used to reduce stresses that arise during deformation from the pipe to the pipe bend. Here, too, the elbows are heated to a certain temperature, depending on the material, but not quite as high as in normalising. Subsequently, they are cooled down in the air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-ast-global-color-4-color has-text-color\">Solution annealing<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-ast-global-color-4-color has-text-color\">In solution annealing, pipe elbows made of austenitic steel are heated to a temperature of between 1020\u00b0C and 1080\u00b0C.
